Make blogging fun for you

Sometimes when you are a blogger you can start off fine. Writing daily articles and been active. Really enjoying what you are doing. However some may eventually reach the stage where you feel alone whilst blogging and it becomes more of a problem for you to make the articles because you feel that no one is interested in reading what you have to say. Many become scared of the blog been a huge failure and therefore shut up shop early and do not continue the efforts. This is not true.

Sometimes you may be the only one reading but with a bit more promotion and content a lot more readers will come to read what you have to say. With blogging it can feel lonely because you do not have the same connection that you have with forums and communicating with users. I would like to share some tips on how you can make blogging more fun for you and keep you up with posting content.

Ask your readers –

Sometimes the issue with you feeling that the blog is a failure could be because you are not getting many replies on the article. Remember that this does not mean that people are not reading the article. They could just be busy or not have anything to reply to. This is why I always ask my readers questions in my articles in the hope to get a reply from them as a follow up.

Be personal –

If you are been personal by giving your opinions and thoughts on things then that is great. You are more likely to get replies if you share your opinion on things because the readers will want to agree or disagree with you and tell you why they fell that way. Also if you are sharing your personal thoughts you will enjoy writing more. I enjoy writing because it gives me a chance to say what I want to say but to people I do not know in real life and I fell much better for that.

Make it something you want! –

Some may or may not agree with me on this one but I feel that blogging should always be something you want instead of what your readers want. You should not talk about things if they are not what you want to do. My top tip is to treat your blog like a personal diary where you write what you want and only what you want. Make it fun. Imagine that you are the only one that will read it and write what comes to mind throughout.

STAND for something –

There are a lot of bloggers in the world and a lot of them post personal thoughts and happenings. This is great and I respect all of those bloggers. The problem is that they will be trying just as hard as you to get readers so you are in competition with them. Nearly anyone with a decent writing ability can be a blogger. You have to be something special to make yourself stand out from the rest and get people interested in what you have to say. Standing up for something strongly (not just one article, something that is the reason why you are a blogger) will help you get readers that agree with what you say and want to stand up for things with you. This is why there are some huge controversial bloggers around that talk about the thoughts on politics and religion. They say what the general public want to say and that is why they get the respect.

Enjoy –

The only reason yous should blog is because you enjoy it. If you do not then you will have troubles in the future. Start a blog that you have interest in the subject. Enjoy what you write and do not get worried if things go slow. Just keep writing for YOU not for your audience.

There are a million reasons why you should or should not be a blogger. But think about what it means to you. If you are interested in the subject, like to write and have something interesting to say then do it. People will read. If it is something you hate and you are just doing it for the money or other reasons then you most likely will not enjoy doing it and what is why you will fail. Have patience and enjoy everything you write and the reasons why you write!

Everything I write is subjective, even advice I try to pass on to whomever needs it. I find writing enjoyable and I love doing it, even if I don’t always have the time.

  2. Enjoy – that is certainly the key to success. If you aren’t interested and enjoying your content then you won’t be having fun and your readers won’t be having fund.

  4. Yep, that’s how you get a good blog going. Trying to share something, trying to stand up for something, enjoying the process and learning as much as you can from it 😉

  5. In my opinion, the key to enjoying blogging is basing your website around a topic that you’re passionate about. If you’re just in it to get high paying keywords, you’ll get bored quickly and give up if you don’t get instant gratification.

For me, the revenue is only a bonus.
