Raw salad

Since the holidays passed and no matter how many times we say to ourselves “I will watch what I eat this year”, some of us actually don’t. Either there’s to much food or we do watch what we eat but all that juice we had after a meal mixed with beer, wine, champagne, cocktails or whatever will deposit themselves right on our butts and bellies.

In these situations I think it’s best to keep a short diet or a longer one if necesarry. It’s not easy but it’s healthy and it’s just what we need after a “feast”.

Dieting doesn’t need to be strict. A diet with results means eating healthy, not less and the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word diet is salad.

One of the salads I enjoy eating every once in a while is a light raw vegetable salad.

You only need 3 main ingredients:

1 big carrot
1/2 of a celery
1 apple

These need to be washed, grated and put in a bowl.

Then you need:

2 spoons of vinegar
2 spoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
pepper (as much as you like)

All of these should already be at hand so all you need to do is mix them all in 1/2 glass of water and pour the dressing over the vegetables.
Mix everything and keep it in the fridge.

There you have it, a simple salad that you can eat whenever and as much as you like.

  1. This salad seems very easy to make and tasty. I’ll definitely try it. I use to make a salad whit carrots, celery, beetroot, apples, cabbage and parsley. You should try it. It’s delicious and it looks very nice
