Today i would like to talk about sex. Don’t expect anything dirty, it’s not what i’m going for.
I was thinking the other day about our grandparents, great grandparents and others who preached the “save yourself for marriage” story. For most of our distant relatives this was a rule to follow and even nowadays there still are lots of people who wait until the honeymoon. I don’t think I know any (didn’t exactly make a habit in asking people about their personal business) but i know there are still people who believe this to be a good thing.
I’m not the one to judge as I also believe in waiting for a special someone to do the “deflowering” insted of letting any loser steal a what is supposed to be a great memory.
I only think saving yourself is questionable when it comes to health reasons.
Fun aside, sex is healthy! Yes, the act of making love (or whatever you wish to call it) actually has a lot of benefits.
First of all, everyone knows sex relieses a number of hormones. All of them are important to our well-being.
It’s a known fact that sex relieves stress, burns calories and helps you sleep. These are the 3 benefits everyone already heard about.
The more important “effects” include: better immunity, improved heart health, low cancer risk for men (prostate wise), pain relief (yes, headaches are most likely to go away after sex) and a high dose of ‘happy thoughts’, so to say.
I remember the times when everyone blushed with shame even at the thought of the S word, but after many studies and tests and whatever doctors did to make us see that sex is actually healthy for us, we should be able to see it as a normal part of our lives.
I see no reason to let our heads down whenever we hear about it. In fact, doctors recommend it (reasons go from serious ones as preventing heart disease to the simple gain of ones confidence).
Summing up, sex is good so ladies, stop inventing headaches if you’re not in the mood.
Remember, a healthy sex life means a healthier you, a happier significant other and a better relationship.
